The NHL has postponed Friday’s game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Buffalo Sabres due to a severe winter storm expected to hit the Western New York region.
The game has been rescheduled for March 4.

The NHL said the decision was made “due to the severe winter storm expected to impact the area.”
Buffalo’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers scheduled for March has now been moved up to Jan. 9.
According to the National Weather Service, Buffalo could experience wind gusts up to 65 m.p.h. and lead to power outages across the region.
